If you have any questions\, do not hesitate to email us on info@sydneywestriders.com.au or call Kevin on 0436 626 323.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHOW DOES THE DAY RUN?\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nRegular Ride Day\n \n\nScrutineering and registration from 7:30am\nMandatory riders briefing begins at 8:30am\nTrack Walk at 8:40am\nTrack session commences 9:00am to 5:00pm\nLunch Break at 12:45pm – 1:15pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT GROUP SHOULD I BE IN?\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPurple – First time ever on a race track and/or still prefer to take it slow/ inexperienced\nWhite  – First time at Luddenham Raceway/or still prefer to take it steady/newcomer\nYellow – Experienced Medium\nGreen – Experienced Medium Fast\nRed    – Experienced Fast\nGroups may change based on number of attendees and operational requirements. Participants will not be allowed to change groups unless instructed by organisers. All participants have the responsibility to ensure they are prepared for their sessions.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFINAL NOTES\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nThis is not limited to but includes: \n\nNo spectators\, helpers and parents are allowed at this event due to measures introduced by the NSW Government. We will have marshals to assist you with loading and unloading if need.\nAll supermoto/motards motorcycles must have foot peg sliders. Luddenham Raceway strictly prohibits bikes to go on track without sliders. These can be purchased on the day for $70.\nFull leathers (including longer length gloves and boots)\nFull face helmet meeting approved standards\nRiders license (or demonstrate ability to ride a motorcycle).\nChain adjusted correctly and lubricated\nNo leaking fluids e.g. oil\, coolant and brake fluid\nTyres clear of any punctures and are deemed satisfactory for track.\nSpectators must sign in at the main Luddenham Raceway centre. A $5 spectator fee will be required before entry. Spectators must be 16 years & older to be permitted to enter the open pit.\nThere are no refunds.\nIn an event of wet weather\, the ride day will still proceed. Only if deemed unsafe/cancelled by the track owner\, then you may reschedule to one of our other dates.\nSteering head bearings adjusted correctly with no free play.\nChain adjusted correctly and lubricated.\nProtected Engine Cover (Recommended)\nHandle bars is secured.\nFront and rear brakes are working to standard.\nThrottle action smooth and return freely to closed position.\nFront and rear pads deemed to be suitable.\nNo sharp edges on clutch and front brake.\nFoot pegs on properly with no sharp edges.\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:WHAT IS AN OPEN RIDE DAY? \nOpen Ride Days are designed for you to enjoy Luddenham Motorsport Park! \nThe days are great for bike testing\, shakedowns or for simply getting out on your bike and getting some track time by yourself or with friends and family. \nYou get to ride at your own pace and explore the upper limits of your bike. Laps are electronically timed\, and can be viewed on the phone app “SpeedHive by Mylaps” or on the HDTV display in the center. \nYou get to choose what group you go in\, and there are five  levels to choose from\, and also a private Rider Mentor class capped at 10 riders for more leaning / development of your skills. \n  \nRIDE DAY DETAILS: \n\nSign In\, Scrutineering & Briefing starts from 7:30am (this will run from 7:30am-8:50am\, if you arrive later you will need to wait patiently until staff are free to check you in)\nEvent Starts at 9am\nEvent Finishes at 4:30pm\nSessions are 15 Minutes long\, there is no lunch break\, so sessions continue running throughout the day until 4:00pm\, each rider will get up to 9 sessions. capped to 15riders per session.\n\nGROUP SELECTION: \n\nBlue – Beginners Rider\nYellow – Intermadiate Rider\nRed    –  Advanced Rider\n\nGroups may change based on number of attendees and operational requirements. Participants will not be allowed to change groups unless instructed by organisers. Spectators are  permitted at Open Ride Days for $20. Please note you must be attending the Ride Day with a Driver to spectate as we limit numbers at our events to ensure an enjoyable and secure day for participants. \nSpectators must be 16 and above and must present ID at check in. \n  \nCAN I USE A LUDDENHAM RACEWAY GIFT VOUCHER TO BOOK A LUDDENHAM RACEWAY RIDE DAY? \nYes you can! To redeem a voucher you must email info@luddenhamraceway.com with your voucher details and let us know the date you would like to book\, what group you would like to be in and the name and vehicle of the driver. The Motorsport Park team will then redeem your voucher and any remaining amount will be applied to your name\, or any outstanding amount will be fixed up on the day. \n  \nHOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE AND DO I NEED A DRIVERS LICENCE? \nTo be a Driver you must be at least 17 and you must also hold at a minimum your red P’s. \nIf your licence has been cancelled or suspended\, that’s fine you just need to show proof that you have held red p’s or higher. \nYou can drive with an international licence\, just please remember on the day for check in you will need to show a Passport if you do not have an Australian Drivers Licence and or Australian Photo ID Card. \nTo be in the Motorsport Park you must be at least 16 years old. No one under 16 is permitted in the Motorsport Park under any circumstances. \n  \n DO I NEED A CAMS / AASA LICENCE OR SIMILAR? \nNo outside licensing required (eg. CAMS/AASA) to attend the day. \nHowever for sign in you MUST present Valid\, Government Issued Photo ID such as an Australian Drivers Licence\, Australian Photo ID Card OR Passport if you are an overseas resident. No other ID will be accepted. \n  \nHOW MANY SESSIONS DO I GET? \nDrivers will choose the group they drive in (beginners\, intermediate or advanced) and when their sessions are our they will be on track for 15 minute sessions. \nSessions are cycled throughout the day so depending on how many groups are running a driver will get between 4- 8 fifteen minute sessions. \n  \nHOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET INTO THE MOTORSPORT PARK?\nYou must be at least 16 years old and ID is required to be shown by all who will be entering the Motorsport Park. \nUnder no circumstances can you attend if you are under 16 (this includes toddlers and babies\, if you cannot show ID as a 16 year old you are not permitted entry)as the Motorsport Park has live pits and it is not safe for under 16’s to attend. \nIf you are under 18 (but over 16) and plan on attending and your parent will NOT be attending with you\, then you MUST email for a Waiver or you will not be able to get inside. Your parent can email info@luddenhamraceway.com and request a Take Home Waiver. \n  \nWHAT ABOUT FUEL? \n Fuel is NOT available on site\, the two nearest Service Stations are less than a 5 minute Drive from Luddenham Raceway and details are listed below: \n\nCALTEX: 19 The Northern Road\, Luddenham NSW 2745\nSHELL: 2140 The Northern Road\, Luddenham NSW 2745\n\nIf you plan on refueling on site you must only do so in the designated refueling bay and you CANNOT drive with fuel in your bike on track. \n\nIS IT OK IF MY BIKE…? \n\nStreet and Track Bikes are both welcomed.\nMotards are Welcomed\n\n  \nWHAT IF I AM NOT ABLE TO ATTEND OR WANT TO CHANGE THE DATE AFTER I HAVE BOOKED? \nIf you have booked a ride day and do not attend then you would forfeit your ticket. Ride Days are a ticketed event and you would not be entitled to a refund. Please note that once a booking has been made changes are not permitted\, so make sure the day is suitable before you book as any changes would result in a $100 rebook fee. \n  \nWHAT ARE THE T&C’S? \nDrive /Ride Day Terms and Conditions – Luddenham Raceway \n  \nWHAT IF I AM LATE?\nIf you are late (arrive after 8:50am) then you may miss a few of your sessions but you are still allowed to sign in! \nJust head to the building labelled Reception and wait for Staff to be free to sign you in and get you situated. Please be patient and polite while waiting for Staff to become free to assist you. \n  \nHOW DO UNDERCOVER PIT SPOTS WORK?\nFirst in\, best dressed! So arrive early and get your preferred spot. \n  \nCAN I LOOK AT MY TIMES AFTER THE DAY? \nYes you can\, you can download the SpeedHive App (by Mylaps) on your phone OR you can go to https://speedhive.mylaps.com/ and search “Luddenham Raceway” to bring up the results of past ride days. \n  \nCAN I WALK IN ON THE DAY OF A RIDE DAY AND PAY? \nYes\, usually we can accommodate one or two walk ins for Ride Days that are scheduled\, so just call ahead before you leave to confirm.\nIf you pay by card there is a 2% service fee\, OR you can pay cash and no fee would apply. \n  \nWhat if I want to pay Ca$h because I have birthday money I need to spend? \nCash is old school\, but is still accepted\, if you can only pay cash then just send an email to info@luddenhamraceway.com and they will get your details so that you can pay on the day.
