WHAT IS AN OPEN RIDE DAY?
An Open Ride Day is your chance to enjoy proper motorcycle track time at Luddenham Motorsport Park, one of Western Sydney’s premier motorcycle track day venues, located just 2 minutes from the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
Open Ride Days are built for riders who want quality seat time without racing pressure. Whether you’re testing a bike, doing a shakedown, improving technique, or simply enjoying your motorcycle on a real circuit, this format gives you freedom and flexibility.

There’s no racing and no competition. You ride within your limits and progress naturally throughout the day.
All laps are electronically timed and can be viewed live via the SpeedHive by MyLaps app, or on the large HDTV screen located in the centre of the facility.

GROUPS & RIDER LEVELS
You choose the group that suits your experience:
Blue – Beginner Rider
Ideal for newer track riders or anyone wanting a relaxed introduction to circuit riding.
Yellow – Intermediate Rider
For riders with some track experience who are comfortable increasing pace.
Red – Advanced Rider
Designed for experienced riders who are confident pushing performance limits.
RIDE DAY SCHEDULE
Sign-In, Scrutineering & Rider Briefing:
7:30am – 8:50am
Late arrivals may need to wait until staff are available to check you in.
Track Sessions Begin:
9:00am
Event Finish:
4:30pm
Sessions are 15 minutes long and rotate continuously throughout the day.
There is no lunch break, with riders receiving up to 9 sessions, capped at 15 riders per session.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

You must be 16 years or older to enter the Motorsport Park

ID is required for all entrants

No exceptions apply due to live pits and safety requirements
WHAT IS REQUIRED ON THE DAY
Motorcycle Requirements:

All supermoto/motard bikes must have foot peg sliders
-
Bikes without sliders are not permitted on track

Sliders can be purchased on the day for $80

No fluid leaks (oil, coolant, brake fluid)

Chain correctly adjusted and lubricated

Steering head bearings correctly adjusted
-
Throttle must return freely
-
Front and rear brakes functioning correctly
-
Tyres free of punctures and suitable for track use
-
No sharp edges on levers or foot pegs
-
Handlebars secured
-
Front and rear brake pads suitable
Rider Safety Gear:

Full leathers

Full-length gloves and boots
-
Full-face helmet meeting approved standards

Rider licence or ability to demonstrate motorcycle control
SPECTATORS
Spectators are welcome at Open Ride Days for $20, provided they attend with a rider.
Spectators must be 16 years or older and present ID at check-in.
FUEL
Fuel is not available on site.

Refuelling on site is only permitted in designated areas. Riding on track with fuel containers is not allowed.
LICENSING & ID
No CAMS, AASA or external licences are required.
For sign-in, you must present valid government-issued photo ID:

MISSED OR CHANGED BOOKINGS
Ride Days are ticketed events.
If you do not attend, your ticket is forfeited.
Changes are not permitted once booked. A rebook fee of $100 applies if approved.

WALK-INS & CASH PAYMENTS
Walk-ins can sometimes be accommodated, but always call ahead first.
Card payments incur a 2% service fee.
