Please note that only approved and authorised drivers are eligible to enter the Luddenham Drift Day, and if non approved drivers purchase a driver entry ticket, they would NOT be eligible to enter and would NOT be entitled to a refund.

TRACK DAY DETAILS:
- Date: 8 March 2025
- Sign In, Scrutineering & Briefing starts from 7:30am (this will run from 7:30am-8:50am, if you arrive later you will need to wait patiently until staff are free to check you in)
- Event Starts at 9am
- Event Finishes at 4pm
- Sessions are 5 Drift Laps rotating all day , there is no lunch break, so sessions continue running throughout the day until 4pm. e.g. max 10 drifters per session going out at a time.
COST:
- Drivers – $330 p.p
- Passengers – $60 – organized and paid on the day.
- Spectators/Pit Crew – $30 – organized and paid on the day.
WHO CAN DRIVERS BRING?
Passengers ($60p.p.) Spectators/Pit Crew ($30p.p.). This is not something that is pre booked, and is something you pay for on arrival.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be over 16 to enter the Motorsport Park, there are no exceptions to this rule and ID is checked before you are allowed into the Motorsport Park.
- Passengers / Spectators
- Pit Crew / Spectators are $30 and pay on the Day.
- Passengers are $60 and pay on the Day.
- No one under 16 is permitted to be at the Motorsport Park. ID is checked, and if a Driver and their associates allows an under 16 to enter, they will be removed from the event and will not be entitled to a refund.
- All Passengers / Spectators are required to show sign in and present ID that is VALID, only an Australian Drivers Licence, Australian Photo ID Card or Passport (if you are an overseas resident) will be accepted.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR SCRUTINEERING?
- No Oil, fuel, or water leaks
- All wheel nuts must be fitted and tightened
- No loose objects or sharp edges in the driver’s compartment
- Cars must be clear of ALL loose items
- Cars must have all exterior body panels on and bolted securely
- The Front windscreen must not have cracks larger than 30mm
- Doors must be fitted with side intrusion bars unmodified unless an approved safety cage with side intrusion bars is installed.
- Oil catch cans must be able to contain hot oil safely. Oil catch cans must be 2L or greater. Vehicles do not require a catch can if fitted with the standard engine breather system.
- The cooling system must have an overflow bottle or tank minimum 1L
- The fire wall must be completely sealed (no holes) from the engine bay to the driver’s compartment
- No moving engine parts protrude from the bonnet
- Seats must be mounted securely with all correct bolts fitted. High tensile M8 nuts, bolts minimum
- Seats must be in good condition. With minimal to no movement in the adjustment mechanisms.
- No tears, fraying or damage to the seat belt or harness webbing
- If running harness type seat belts, they must be in date and have clearly marked standards and expiry dates
- The harness shoulder straps shall be directed to the rear and installed in such a way that they do not make an angle greater than 40° to the horizontal from the occupant’s shoulder
- Where a safety harness is affixed to an un-reinforced section of the body shell, each attachment point shall be reinforced by a steel plate not less than 75mm x50mm x 3mm
- All four brakes are operational from the foot brake pedal
- Front and rear hazard working
- Head lights, parking lights and brake lights working. If headlights are glass the lights must have an adhesive cover of a color other than red to prevent broken glass, clear protective film is recommended
- Battery must be firmly clamped and in a sealed compartment or box if fitted within the passenger compartment or in a compartment with a fuel system (cable ties and ratchet straps are not acceptable mounting for the battery)
- Exhaust system ends outside the perimeter of the bodywork
- Exhausts must not protrude more than 100mm past perimeter of the vehicle
- No exhausts to exit upwards through the bonnet wastegate/screamer pipes may protrude through the bonnet by a maximum of 30mm Cars running external wastegates need to ensure the wastegates exist away from any flammable materials Exceptions may be made for exhausts
but you must contact us first - No tow bars or bash bars may protrude from the silhouette of the vehicle
- No exhausts to exit the vehicle on an upswept angle of more than 15 degrees. If directed sideways, the exhaust outlet/s must be located rearward of the midpoint of the wheelbase and shall not project more than 50mm beyond the body work
- All fuel system components must be secured and be completely sealed from the passenger compartment. This includes fuel lines and filters. Aftermarket fuel tanks must have a roll
over valve and pigtail hose which does not vent into the passenger compartment - Nitrous oxide or LPG systems are permitted. The tanks or bottle MUST be securely fastened to prevent movement during an accident. The system MUST be free from leaks. The system MUST also be part of the car’s main electrical system and shut off when the car is turned off or stalled
- Fire extinguishers are not required however are recommended. If you do have an extinguisher, see below:Must be securely attached with nuts and bolts. NO T eck screws or cableties. Must meet AS 1841 or AS1841.2. Must be held in place by a metal latch/bracket
- Roll/Safety Cage You do not need a roll cage to enter for the circuit unless you have a
convertible/open roof vehicle. Roll/Safety cage meets or exceeds the requirements set out in schedule J of the MA manual - If your taking passnagers a roll cadge is required
- Where the Head or body of an occupant could come into contact with the safety cage, flame retardant padding must be fitted. FIA standard 8857-2001 or SFI specification 45.1 padding
- Vehicles must be fitted with visible and accessible towing points or hooks (minimum inside diameter of 40mm) fitted forward of the front axle and rearward of the rear axle and capable of towing the vehicle on a sealed surface with its wheels locked. Where a tow point is obscured, each tow point shall be marked with the word “TOW” of a contrasting colour to the vehicle’s body marking the location of each tow point
- Helmets / Clothing Must conform with the one of the following: – Australian Standard: AS1698
– USA standard: Snell SA95, M9 SA95, SA2005 – ECE 22 (with 03, 04 or 05 amendments) Drivers and passengers must wear non-flammable long sleeve clothing that covers from neck to wrist to ankles. NO NYLON, NO POLYESTER. Fully covered ankles when seated in the
car. (NO ankle socks) Fully enclosed footwear made from non-flammable materials
IS THERE A PHOTOGRAPHER ON SITE ?

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET INTO THE MOTORSPORT PARK?
You must be at least 16 years old and ID is required to be shown by all who will be entering the Motorsport Park.
Under no circumstances can you attend if you are under 16 (this includes toddlers and babies, if you cannot show ID as a 16 year old you are not permitted entry)as the Motorsport Park has live pits and it is not safe for under 16’s to attend.
If you are under 18 (but over 16) and plan on attending and your parent will NOT be attending with you, then you MUST email for a Waiver or you will not be able to get inside. Your parent can email info@luddenhamraceway.com and request a Take Home Waiver.
WHAT ABOUT FUEL?
Fuel is NOT available on site, the two nearest Service Stations are less than a 5 minute Drive from Luddenham Raceway and details are listed below:

- SHELL: 2140 The Northern Road, Luddenham NSW 2745
If you plan on refueling on site you must only do so in the designated refueling bay and you CANNOT drive with fuel in your car on track.
WHAT IF I AM NOT ABLE TO ATTEND OR WANT TO CHANGE THE DATE AFTER I HAVE BOOKED?
If you have booked a drift day and do not attend then you would forfeit your ticket. Track Days are a ticketed event and you would not be entitled to a refund. Please note that once a booking has been made changes are not permitted, so make sure the day is suitable before you book.

WHAT IF I AM LATE?
If you are late (arrive after 8:50am) then you may miss a few of your sessions but you are still allowed to sign in!
Just head to the building labelled Reception and wait for Staff to be free to sign you in and get you situated. Please be patient and polite while waiting for Staff to become free to assist you.
HOW DO UNDERCOVER PIT SPOTS WORK?
First in, best dressed! So arrive early and get your preferred spot.
CAN I WALK IN ON THE DAY AND PAY?
No – this is a invitation only event and if you have not booked and paid you cannot drive.
